The Way Cool Germicidal UVC Air Purifier is the install we put in homes that need active sterilization at the air handler. UVC is the trusted method hospitals use to inactivate viruses, bacteria, and mold in circulating air — and at the coil it does double duty by keeping the indoor coil clean of biological growth, which is the slow-burn killer of HVAC efficiency.

The unit carries two lamps. The primary UVC germicidal lamp sterilizes airborne pathogens as they pass the air handler. The secondary UVV lamp runs through a patented oxidation chamber that handles household odors — cooking, pets, mustiness, that summer smell that builds up after a sealed-up week. The UVV intensity is adjustable by the homeowner, so you can turn it up during heavy cooking weeks and down for normal operation.

Compact remote-mount housing means it fits in tight closets and crawlspaces where space is at a premium. Lifetime warranty on the electronics. 2-year warranty on the long-life lamps — which are also the planned replacement cadence.
